07/26/2006 Major News Update
| We finally moved our website to another provider, which will hopefully much more reliable than the last one. As for the band, we decided to take a break from playing live in order to write new songs. Of course, you will have noticed that we hardly played live anyway. But now we do it on purpose, notjust because of a constant lack of time for each of the band members (which still exists, by the way). To be honest, we're kinda sick of playing the same old songs over and over again. So we decided not to play live again until we're able to present a whole new set of FTD songs. Hopefully that will happen in fall/winter 2006. Cheers! - KCR |
03/16/2006 fortheday.de back from the dead!
| Dear friends, our provider had some technical problems with our server, which lead to the fact that we didn't get a bill. As we didn't get it, we didn't pay it, so they put our website down. Here we are, back on track, and on a more reliable server now. Hopefully! There's two shows coming up, so let's hope we'll meet on of those! - KCR |
05/13/2005 RollingBones Poolparty postponed to May 21

03/12/2005 New compilation

Yesterday night, we played the release show in Eschweiler, which was great fun! If you like to check it out can be purchased for only € 5,- from the label or directly from us. Click here for more details! |
01/14/2005 Help for Tsunami victims
| The misery caused by the Tsunami in Asia is still a shock for us. So when we played the Nightlife in Aachen the night after it had happened and no one even realized the full extend of the tragedy, we decided to donate the proceeds from the show to the victims of the disaster. So we sent 110,- EUR to "Aktion Deutschland hilft". Telling you this is no showing-off our charity, we just want to let you know what your money was spent for. So in a way, everybody who attended the show has helped a little! |
12/18/2004 Some updates
| I finally managed to do some updates on this website. There's a couple of new links and a shitload of new pictures from our show with the Sainte Catherines and from the Eaves release show (there already was a gallery from that show but I added mor pics today). Plus I've posted our interview from voiceofreason.de which you definitely should read if you haven't yet. We hope to see all of you at the "Nightmare After Christmas"! |

04/14/2004 Patches and skate video now available
|
Wow, 180 kids payed their entrance fee at the benfit show for the AZ Aachen last monday. We wanna thank you because for us personally it is very important that the place can re-open asap! Plus we had a pretty damn good time. We were surprised by how many kids stayed to see us play last. A lot of new faces and also a lot of faces that now aren't new anymore. It's cool to see kids coming back to our shows each time we play. The patches are available now. To see the design go to the output section. Also the burn.mpg CD-R can be now purchased directly from us. Speaking of skateboarding, pretty soon we'll be able to introduce our second team rider to you: Heiko Schöller! - kcr |
03/30/2004 New T-shirts April 3rd, new patches April 12th
|
Finally we're getting new T-shirts. They will be available for the first time at the Oefenbunker show this Saturday. We have two new designs (more or less): "FTD Skating Team" and "Splatter Skull Sketch", go check them out in the output section. There's a little special concerning the girl-shirts, we've made a couple of sleeveless ones. So, we're quite curious if someone is going to ask for those. Well, if not we'll wear them on stage. Cheerio from your favorite Emo fags! The sun finally came out in Rain City Aachen. Days are getting longer and clothes are getting shorter, awesome. I've had it with fucking winter this time. At least I can see the weather from my desk... - kcr |
03/18/2004 AZ Aachen benefit show: April 12
|
The coolest place on Earth (the AZ Aachen, of course) still needs some financial help to re-open. Therefor Michael from Spanking The Monkey put up a benefit show at one of the least cool places on Earth, the Musikbunker Aachen, taking place on Easter Monday, April 12, 2004. Besides your favourite Emo Poseurs (FTD) The Socks and ADD will play for your donation. Headlining band is going to be surprise act. I'm pretty curious because we also don't know it's going to be. The full amount of the entrance fee of € 5,- is going straight to the AZ Aachen. This is a cool deal, especially seen the place the show is happening in. So everybody roll your egg-stuffed Easter bellies from your family reunions to the MuBu! Maybe we'll be able to present new stuff from this year's merch offense. There's going to be new T-Shirts, maybe stickers and - after more than three years of abstinence - new patches, printed by the nice people at Aachen's own Klappergaul! If anyone wonders why I'm writing so much these days: Actually I'm supposed to sit at my office desk and be busy with my studies. - Funny, I already cleaned up my room, made some data back-ups, fixed my drum kit and updated this website. Maybe up next I'll prepare my bike for the summer... - kcr |
03/07/2004 Guess what: new website!!!
|
Even though I still love the artwork of our first album I just couldn't take these blue lockers on our website anymore. So I took the short period of plenty of spare time and re-designed our website. I hope you you like it.
Content-wise there isn't too much new, but still enough to click your way right there! First of all we now have a sitemap (see also on the left). Sometimes people came up to us telling us they couldn't find certain things on our website. So this is a help to find your way to all the exciting goodies of our website! Furthermore we have to new galleries of pictures in the media section, one from the Westside Unity Festival and the other from the Nightlife show in Aachen. Probably the coolest new element of our website is the FTD Skating Team to which we finally gave a shape on our website. If you're curious have a look! I just passed the "Altstadt" flea market which I probably shouldn't have done. Buying cheap records is a bad habbit of mine. The 1981 album by Kim Wilde and the "Darkness On The Edge Of Town" LP by Bruce Springsteen might be okay but should I really have bought that "Slippery When Wet" LP by Bon Jovi? Hm, I guess so. I had it when it was just out and I was a little kid of 10 or 11 years. Must have been one of my first records ever. But one day when I realized this band is too far out I sold the record to a local record shop which I've been regretting for the last couple of years. Side A fucking rocks while I even couldn't remember the boring B-side. FTD - we give Punk a bad name! - kcr |
